ollywood comes to Sydney with this exclusive print sale exhibition of classic Marilyn Monroe photographs by Eve Arnold, showing for the second time since its London launch.

Marilyn Monroe, an immortal icon of style and glamour, and one of the most recognised faces in the world was often portrayed as the sexy Hollywood starlet. However, amongst the most insightful images of this intelligent and vulnerable woman, are those captured by Eve Arnold, the first woman to take pictures for the famous Magnum Photos Agency.

Eve and Marilyn first worked together for a 1952 Esquire shoot, a collaboration instigated by Monroe, impressed by the photographer's work with Marlene Dietrich: "If you could do that well with Marlene, can you imagine what you can do with me?"

In this blockbuster exhibition, the celebrated photographer, and the actress who continues to captivate the world, come together in a stunning collection of limited edition photographs taken by Eve Arnold over a period of 10 years  culminating in the filming of the classic 1960 movie The Misfits. The collection brings to light the extraordinarily complex character that was Marilyn Monroe, captured in her most unguarded, natural moments by the only woman to have photographed her extensively.

The exhibition of limited edition prints includes a number of previously unseen photographic images (all of which can be purchased), limited edition books and catalogues, and an abundance of historical information about Eve Arnold, Marilyn Monroe.

The exhibition will also include an exclusive jewellery collection inspired by Marilyn Monroe and designed specially for this occasion by Lili Koos.

The exhibition will open with a VIP Cocktail Party, on Thursday 2 August. Tickets for this VIP Cocktail Party are limited.
